5 Best Shopping Malls or Galeria in Warsaw

Warsaw is one of the most amazing cities in Europe, and it is the best place for tourists to explore. If you are among those who like to know and visit the top shopping malls, or in Polish, we call them “Galeria,” then this blog is for you because in this blog, we will share with you five main shopping malls, or Galeria, in Warsaw, according to their size, standard, and other key related points. Let’s have a look at them one by one.

 

1. Galeria Arkadia

Galeria Arkadia is one of the top Galeria in Warsaw and is located in the city. The reason for putting this Galeria on top is due to its size and quality. You can find everything there, e.g., shopping for all kinds of international and local brands, eating, buying groceries, etc.

Cinema: If you are one of those who like to move with 2D, 3D, and even 4D with all the standard graphics, then this gala is the best option for you to visit.

Parking: Parking is available in this shopping mall or Galeria, and the first hour is free. Later, you have to pay some fee for the parking, but it is not that much.

Opening hours: Galaraia Arkaida is open every day except Sunday, and the opening time is from 10:00 a.m. to 22:00 a.m.

Distance: The distance from Warsaw Center to Galeria Arkadia, is approximately 4 km. You can go there by taxi, or you can take a tram from the central station. Public transport goes there (Trump 22, M1 Metro, etc.).

2. Galeria Mlociny

Galeria Mlociny is considered the second-largest Galeria or shopping mall, in Warsaw in terms of size, quality, and standard. The size of this shopping mall is bigger, it has a lot of area, and it has all the things that are required in a standard shopping mall.

Parking: Galeria Mlociny has a big parking area with many entrances. You have to park there and pay around 5 zl, or 1 euro more or less, for one hour of parking.

Opening hours: Galeria Mlociny is open from 10:00 to 22:00, but on Sunday it is closed.

Note: If you simply want to do shopping in Poland with a lot of variety and an affordable price, then Galeria Mlociny is the best choice for you.

Distance: This galleria is around 10 km away from the city center or Warsawa Central Station. You can go there by taxi, or you can use the metro train M1 by paying around 4 PLN or 1 euro to directly go to the front of this galaira in 30 minutes, approx.

3. Galeria Mokotow

Galeria Mokotów is another shopping mall in Poland in terms of its size, quality, and availability of everything that you need in one place. It has everything: clothes, cosmetics, jewelry, banks, phones, other accessories, shops, food carts, Crimea, etc.

Parking: This Galeria also has good parking where you can park freely for 2 hours, and if you park longer, you have to pay around 5–6 PLN, or 1 euro more or less, for an extra hour.

Cinema: This gelaria also has Cinema, where you can see 2D and 3D movies, and you can watch Indian movies as well in Galeria Mokotow.

Opening hours: Its opening hours are 10:00 to 22:00; expect Sunday to be closed.

Distance: It is 6 km away from Warsaw Central Station. You can take public transport to get there, e.g., trams, buses, etc. If you want to take a tram, then you should consider tram 17 from Dworzec Centralny 09. This is the station name or the place from where you can take this tram.  Galeria Mokotów is very close to Warsaw Chopin Airport.

4. Złote Tarasy

Złote Tarasy is in another shopping mall in Warsaw where you can visit and find everything that you need, e.g., shopping, food, buying groceries, even a SIM card for your phone, etc. The best thing about this shopping mall is that you don’t have to travel anywhere because it is located at Warsaw Central Station. You can visit it from the outside and also stay inside by going underground directly to this mall.

Parking: This shopping mall also has a parking area, but it is not free. Even for one hour, you have to pay around 5 PLN and 1 EUR, approximately.

Cinema: Zlote Tarasy also has a cinema where you can watch movies.

Opening hours: it’s open every day from 9:00 to 22:00, but on Sunday it’s from 9:00 to 21:00.

 We would give 8 out of 10 to Zlote Tarasy.

 

5. Galeria Sadyba

Galeria Sadyba is on our list due to its size and standard. Even though this shopping mall has all the items and requirements that you need to have, when it comes to size, it is comparatively small compared to the others above.

Parking: The parking is free for one hour, but if you stay longer, you have to pay around 5 PLN or 1 euro in parking fees.

Opening hours: Sadyba The best mall opening hours are between 10:00 and 21:00 every day, but on Sunday, most shops are closed.

Distance: Sadyba Best Mall is around 8.5 km away from the city center or Warsawa Central Station. You can take both taxis and public transportation there. Right now, you can go there by bus; e.g., you can take the 131 or 187 bus from Central Station, and it takes around 30 minutes to get there by bus.

Cinema: This galeria also has Cinema City, where you can watch 2D and 3D movies.
